Hi, I am Kala 👋
A dedicated Development Communication Specialist with 14+ years of rich experience in media production, life skills education, behavioral change communication, and social impact initiatives. I am passionate about using the power of storytelling and media to create meaningful change in society.
My Journey
My professional journey began in 2009 with Equal Access Nepal, where I spent over six years as a Program Officer, producing weekly radio programs for children and adolescents. I have conceptualized, scripted, and produced more than 250 radio episodes, hundreds of radio dramas, PSAs, and jingles that touched the lives of thousands across Nepal.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I produced a special series “Saath Haamro” focusing on psychological first aid. I have also worked with Women for Human Rights, ExportFromNepal.com, and currently contribute my expertise in education and media.
